The Sterling Sapphire 2 mobility scooter is a superb pavement scooter that doubles up as a portable that can be broken apart with one simple lever.
A brilliant feature of this scooter is the large rear wheels and 3.5 inches of ground clearance that it possesses. This allows the Sapphire 2 to easily go over much rougher terrain than your standard portable. Grass, light gravel paths and uneven pavements are tackled with ease.
The wraparound delta handlebars make using this machine very easy for all users.
The 35ah batteries fitted are larger than your average portable allowing you to travel up to 19 miles on a full charge. The batteries split apart so you only have to lift one at a time to fit easily into your car boot.
Please bear in mind that the heaviest part is 22.5kg, this will need a relatively able-bodied person to lift or maybe 2 people who are slightly less able.
